" Some indicators for E-week 18 (2 - 8 May 2010) are as follows:
The number of patients seeking treatment at polyclinics for Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) was 17,699 during E-week 18 (daily average of 3,219 over 5.5 working days), compared to 16,167 during E-week 17 (daily average of 3,233 over 5.0 working days).
The proportion of Influenza A (H1N1-2009) detected among patients with influenza-like illness (ILI) in the community during E-week 18 was 39% (preliminary).
Overall, the influenza activity in Singapore remains high."
