Malaysia's Ministry of Health latest H1N1 update:
" Up until 8:00 am on 18 April 2010, the Ministry received a total of six (6) reports of ILI cluster cases in the following four (4) states as states in attachment 1.
Meanwhile, until 5:30 pm on 17 April 2010, a total of 39 confirmed cases of Influenza A (H1N1) reported making the total number of cases 13,127. The total number of ILI cases that are being treated in the wards around the country are 534 cases. Of these, 70 cases (13.1%) were confirmed positive influenza A (H1N1). No new entry to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was reported and the number being treated in the ICU remanins at 12 people of nine (9) of them had risk factors. No reports of death received yesterday.

1) Sri Merdeka Kindergarten, Taman Merdeka, Batu Pahat, Johor
2) Sin Hwa Chinese School, Taman Maju, Batu Pahat, Johor
3) SPB Integrasi Kerdau, Temerloh, Pahang
4) National Training Centre Indera Pahlawan, Jengka 6, Maran, Pahang
5) SMA Ad-Diniah, Al-Islamiah, Kuala Kangsar, Perak
6) Immigration Quarters, Padang Besar, Perlis
Most of the cases were H1N1 positive and warded in the hospitals, while others are still waiting for laboratory confirmation."
