" Nine students from SM Agama Ad-Diniah Al-Islamiah in Kuala Kangsar, Perak were among 12 people who tested positive for Influenza A(H1N1).
They were a part of six cluster cases of influenza-like illness (ILI) recorded by health authorities over the past 24 hours till Sunday morning.
The nine were among 21 students from the religious school who were down with ILI.
The other two A(H1N1) cases detected were at SJKC Sin Hwa in Batu Pahat, Johor involving students while the remaining case found at the immigration quarters in Padang Besar, Perlis.
Another patient with ILI was also reported at the same immigration quarters.
Both patients were admitted to the hospital and prescribed anti-viral treatment.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Ismail Merican said the other ILI cases were Sri Merdeka kindergarten in Taman Merdeka, Batu Pahat, Johor (three people), SPB Integrasi Kerdau, Temerloh, Pahang (two people) and Indera Pahlawan National Service camp in Jengka 6, Maran, Pahang (13 people)."
