Malaysia : MOH Current Situation of Influenza A (H1N1) - 16 April 2010

The latest from the Ministry of Health, there is one attachment with the update which lists the ILI cluster cases. Looking at it, I realised 2 things, one I just cant understand what they mean, the data is just confusing (with the exposed quantity and ILI quantity) and two, it's crystal clear the ILI / H1N1 rates has indeed gone up. Need I say more??

" Up until 8:00 am on 16 April 2010, the Ministry received a total of nine (9) reports of ILI cluster cases in the following five (5) states:

Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu, Johor and Pahang (see the attachment for more info)

Meanwhile, up until 5:30 pm on 15 April 2010, the total cumulative ILI cases that are still being treated at the wards in the country are 549 cases. Of these, 62 cases (11.3%) were confirmed positive influenza A (H1N1), while nine (9) cases treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Total cumulative cases of H1N1 to date is 13,061. No reports of death received yesterday."

If you read their update yesterday and compare it to today's you can notice the increase in the ILI cases and the H1N1 positive cases.
