" All schools are advised to observe procedures on prevention and control of H1N1 to avoid the disease from infecting students, Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said.
Speaking to reporters after presenting an allocation of RM3 million for the construction of a school block for Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (C) Pay Fong 1 here on Friday, he said measures were being taken by the ministry and the Health Ministry to address the H1N1 epidemic.
On the closure of schools due to H1N1, he said it was made on the decision by the Health Ministry and not the school concerned. "
