Via News Straits Times, living in a tropical country like Malaysia, we have to deal with alot of diseases which when not paid attention to, it can kill. Besides H1N1 right now, we have another killer in our hands. So let's clean up our act.

Expressing concern, Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Ismail Merican said Malaysians had only themselves to blame for not taking the 10 minutes a week to search within and outside their houses for aedes mosquito breeding grounds and destroy them.
"We can initiate fogging activities, gotong-royong and awareness campaigns but the people have to cooperate with the authorities to keep their homes and surroundings free of aedes breeding sites," he added.
Between April 4 and April 10, 886 new dengue cases were reported nationwide, an increase of 63 cases over the previous week.
Selangor still topped the list, followed by Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, Kedah, Perak, Pahang, Perlis and Terengganu.
Between Jan 1 and April 10, 13,866 people were infected with dengue, of whom 47 died. The same period last year saw 15,825 cases with 39 deaths.
The majority of the 41 aedes hot spots are in Selangor, Johor, Pahang and here.
As for chikungunya, Dr Ismail said 17 new cases were reported, 15 in Sarawak and two in Selangor.
This year's figures are encouraging, with just 525 cases reported between January and April 10 compared with 1,219 cases during the same period last year."
