" HONG KONG, March 31 (Xinhua) -- A 60-year-old female patient with kidney failure died in Hong Kong weeks after she was diagnosed with A/H1N1 flu, a hospital spokesman said Wednesday.
The patient was sent to Queen Mary Hospital on Jan. 24 due to vomiting and abdominal pain. She was confirmed to have contracted the A/H1N1 flu on Feb. 2, since when she was prescribed antibiotics, the spokesman said.
The patient's condition deteriorated and she was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit on March 29. She was dead on March 30."
